About Angela Russo

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maine. I earned my Master of Mental Health Counseling degree from Walden University in Minnesota in 2010. I've worked in many different settings with individuals and families who have a variety of personal conflicts and diagnoses, such as depression, anxiety, family struggles, trauma and abuse, addictions, relationships and parenting in an in home setting and more. Over the past 18 years as a substance abuse counselor, clinician, and Board Certified Behavioral Health analyst, my experience has assisted me working with others to find ways to alleviate distress and assist in gaining hope for the present and future. This is done by building a personal relationship with clients and learning to work together to make positive, necessary changes in their daily lives. Sometimes , it takes a new perspective to assist in creating healthy goals and new challenges to work with the needs and issues in our lives. I enjoy working with people who want to push themselves and just need the encouragement and fresh ideas from someone who has learned about the many inadequacies and hardships life may throw at us.
