I began my career 14 years ago when mentoring teens and young adults in a wilderness therapy program. Living outdoors and being immersed in nature opened my eyes to how different therapy could be offered. Since that time I have taken my experience with existential processing, relational conversations, and ceremony creation to everyday society and beyond. By referencing "beyond" I mean via online platforms that help connect me with people who want to connect with someone who will take them into their pain and help them learn to suffer well. It is my believe that if we avoid suffering altogether the suffering will always return, and 10-fold. However, by honoring the suffering in our lives and developing meaningful capacities for how we relate to difficulties, human experiences can become invitations into he depth of one's life. It is by learning who we are in relation to our feelings that the oppression of our struggles become invasions to deeper living.
