About Cassie Jacobs
I have 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and women in a variety of settings. My goal as a psychotherapist is to be non-judgmental and highlight the strength of a person as a way to process through trauma and life events. This is a client-led process, which allows a focus on future needs and outcomes. Additionally, I incorporate a variety of techniques in order to empower clients, promote and identify resiliency, and identify/rebuild strengths.
I specialize in working with patients that have experienced trauma- whether it is emotional, physical or sexual. I focus on mental health disorders that correlate with trauma, such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety. In addition, I have experience working with the LBGTQIA+ population, military families and children/teens with a parent that is active duty.
I am open and accepting of all beliefs, situations, feelings, and behaviors. I have built my practice around creating a truly safe and nonjudgemental space for every person I work with. Anything that you come willing to discuss will be met with an open mind. I look forward to the privilege of working with you!
