About Afg Guidance Center: Where Families Flourish
The clinicians of Afg Guidance Center: Where Families Flourish have worked together as a multidisciplinary team for over 10 years aiding children, adolescents, and families with a wide spectrum of emotional, behavioral, developmental, social, and academic difficulties. Our group is composed of a child and adolescent psychiatrist, a licensed professional counselor and developmental specialist, and a licensed clinical social worker, psychologist, and neuropsychologist. As a result of our diverse educational backgrounds and expertise, we offer a range of services and treatment modalities including: psychiatric evaluations and medication monitoring; individual talk, play, and expressive art therapy; family therapy; relational enhancement therapy with parents and young children; parent education, support, and skills enhancement; comprehensive diagnostic evaluations; psychological assessment; early childhood evaluations; ADHD assessment and treatment; neuropsychological assessment; neurofeedback; educational advocacy; school based interventions; therapeutic and skill building groups; professional consultation and education. Our treatment philosophy is to approach each child as an individual, part of a family, and part of society, recognizing the importance of early intervention and prevention to help children, adolescents, and families flourish.
