Beth's approach to her work with clients is from a strengths-based perspective, acknowledging the courage & insight it often takes to make that first telephone call. Beth recognizes the inherent worth of each human being, and strives to cultivate hope, develop healthier coping skills and facilitate meaningful change in your life in a sensitive and compassionate manner. Beth strives to develop a treatment plan that is sensitive and realistic to the many demands of clients, understanding the "real life challenges" of time, finances and other important commitments.
Beth Answorth is an experienced, caring social worker, and has also been in private practice for the past 21 years. In addition, she has worked for over 23 years in mental health, substance abuse, medical, hospice and high school settings with adolescents and adults.
Beth's focus of treatment includes individuals, couples, parents and family work for teens, adults and older adults. Group therapy for teens, parents and individuals is also made available whenever possible. Christian, Bible-based counseling is also available for those who are seeking faith-based counseling.
Beth's practice is primarily "out-of-network" with most insurance companies. However, an individual "sliding-scale" arrangement is available and affordable to address any out-of-network deductibles. You are encouraged to discuss this option with Beth, for an individual arrangement that is affordable to your budget.
