About Shelby Becker
As a therapist, I seek to empower people with self-knowledge, self-awareness, and understanding. Within my practice, I find human experience can vary from day to day. Sometimes, it can feel like skydiving, oscillating between extreme highs and extreme lows. My practice serves to engage people to have a more positive experience with themselves in a safe space. I approach therapy from a place of discovering your strengths in a holistic manner, in order to help you address your unique life motivators and stressors. My goal is to give you the opportunity to process and grow from your hidden inner conflicts.
My experience is based in modalities such as Psychodynamic, CBT, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Seeking Safety and Motivational Interviewing. Throughout my years of practice, I take these different techniques, and create a tailored treatment plan to address your specific needs.
