I am an experienced licensed Master Social Worker, specializing in psychotherapy with adults with trauma-related disorders, grief and loss, anxiety and mood disorders. I also bring an additional ten years of experience in psychiatric, oncology, and dialysis nursing, which has contributed to my understanding of grief, loss, trauma, and the needs of those suffering. I bring to my work a variety of skills including, but not limited to: CPT (for PTSD), DBT, IMR, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. I also supervise master's Level clinicians for licensure. I work with adults and couples, and have run a PTSD/Recovery workshop group.
My philosophy encompasses a restoration and recovery approach, redefining one's self in healthier terms, development of meaning in one's life, and a more hopeful outlook.
My office is conveniently, but discreetly located, and hours are relatively flexible.
