Do things that happened to you in the past come crashing into your present without warning? I can help you with that. In a split second you find yourself internally transformed from capable and strong to vulnerable and frightened. If only you could stop going back THERE, to that time and that place that left you scarred with shame and confusion. Whatever those places are for you, I will travel there with you and help you heal those wounds. I want you to know what it is to be free from those painful memories. The techniques I use unlock the potential of your brain to heal your memories. We will work in a way that keeps you safe while giving you strength to face memories that are painful and frightening. If the whole memory is too much, we can work on a piece at a time. If even thinking about the memory is overwhelming, I can help with that too, using a technique that unlocks your brain’s ability to heal subconsciously while you think about something fun or relaxing. I realize that sounds too good to be true but my clients that have used this technique are amazed...and their healing continues long after the session so they often need fewer sessions. I believe that we are not doomed to be tortured by what has happened to us, what others have done to us, purposely or accidentally, for the rest of our lives. My own experience with healing from traumatic experiences as well as the many people I have seen transformed gives me hope that you too can be free. I believe and the mental health research supports that many mental health issues are related to traumatic or even just "normal" but unpleasant life experiences. Healing is possible.
